Roger Herman
Roger Herman is a German artist who lives and works in Los Angeles. He is a singular voice in contemporary painting and his practice moves fluidly between figuration and abstraction, marked by an intuitive use of color, gesture, and surface. His ceramics extend this language into three dimensions, earthy, expressive forms that echo the immediacy and psychological depth of his paintings.
